IPP Customer Concurrent Invests in the SQ3000 Multi-Function AOI, SPI & CMM
Concurrent has officially approved the purchase of the SQ3000 Multi-Function Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), Solder Paste Inspection (SPI), and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) after a successful product trial at IPP’s state-of-the-art ESD facility.

This advanced investment equips Concurrent with specialist vision-based technology to automatically assess the quality of solder paste deposits on their PCBs. By doing so, Concurrent can maintain full control over its production processes and significantly reduce downstream non-conformances.
The SQ3000 also brings the added advantage of CMM functionality, offering highly accurate, 100% metrology-grade measurement for critical points. With the world’s first in-line CMM system, complex applications—such as coplanarity, distance, height, and datum X and Y—can be programmed quickly and easily. These features enhance multiple areas of the business, including quality inspection, engineering prototyping, and testing.
